Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are searching for the right person to join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company as a Warehouse Associate. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing inventory, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment

Fulfill product order invoices

Unload material from incoming trucks

Load products onto delivery trucks for shipping

Assist with maintaining equipment, including cleaning out production equipment and lines

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Essential Skills

High School diploma or equivalent

1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting

Strong organizational and time management skills

Basic math skills

Familiarity with computer and inventory software preferred

Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, stack, lift, and walk for long periods of time

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with forklift operation (80% of the time)

Willingness to clean areas and assist in various tasks, including sweeping floors and helping prepare for the next day

Ability to read SKUs and work orders accurately to ensure correct order processing

Capability to handle labor-intensive tasks and lift 50-pound bags when not operating a forklift

Work Environment

This role is set in a warehouse production environment where you will be exposed to varying temperatures, including heat, cold, humid conditions, and dust. The typical work schedule is between 6 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 42.5 hours per week and additional overtime as needed. The dress code is appropriate for a manufacturing environment, ensuring safety and comfort during work hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33280.00 - $35360.00/yr.

401K, dental, Vision, Medical.

PTO, holiday, etc.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in El Dorado,KS.
