Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Lexington, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be focusing on the fields of accounting and finance, with responsibilities ranging from journal entries and reconciliations to system upgrades and conversions.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the accurate and timely processing of journal entries

Carry out account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of the general ledger

Balance sheet and bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

Ensure timely month-end closing of the financial books

Utilize accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for financial transactions

Participate in system implementation and upgrades to improve financial processes

Manage the conversion process from Deltek to QuickBooks Online

Monitor and maintain customer credit records. Requirements - Sr. Accountant position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field.

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a must for this role.

Balance Sheet Reconciliation skills are essential for the successful performance of job duties.

Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is required.

A strong understanding of General Ledger is necessary.

The candidate must be adept at creating and managing Journal Entries.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for this role.

The candidate must have experience in Month End Close procedures.

Experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.

Knowledge of Oracle systems is beneficial for this role.

Familiarity with SAP is a requirement for this position.
