This is a unique opportunity for an experienced HR professional to work in the heart of River North.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of HR including benefits, recruitment, payroll,

compensation, training, employee relations, performance management and more

Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.

Coordinate benefits administration and non-benefit related insurance

renewals.

Lead and mentor 2 HR team members.

Conduct staff reviews and contribute to succession planning.

Handle secretarial meetings and ensure operational support needs are

met.

Assist with executive committee and partnership-related tasks.

Review vendor contracts and manage the annual budget for GL

accounts.

Participate in ALA Benefits & Compensation Survey annually.

Develop and maintain employee handbooks for non-exempt and exempt

employees.

Job Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in a generalized HR role.

Preferably from a legal or professional services firm background.

Strong managerial experience with a broad HR skill set.

Hands-on approach with the ability to handle varied HR

responsibilities.

Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Suite.

Ability to attend monthly executive committee meetings.

Ability to work onsite 4-5 days a week
