Provide leadership for a team responsible for policies and procedures for airport ramp operations and control centers
Instill a holistic strategy across ground operations and control centers that achieves an integrated prioritization of safety, reliability, and customer experience
Inspire a reimagined approach to policy and procedure that maintains safety as the foundation, and is oriented around the customer journey including on time performance, baggage handling and tracking, and disruption handling
Develop a team mentality to challenge the status quo with an objective of process simplification that drives improved safety, compliance, and MBR performance
Engage with relevant stakeholders to modernize the ways of working for ramp and control center operations, enabling technology-based decisions, ease of access to policies, consistency in process compliance, and efficient staffing solutions
Apply a data-driven approach to review, revision, and follow-through on policy changes and safety enhancements
Identify opportunities and develop strategic plans to evolve technology, process, efficiency, consistency, and accountability across hub control centers
Drive policy, procedure, and process change initiatives that enable staffing efficiency and enhanced customer experience
Maintain strong engagement and feedback with frontline leaders and teams on all initiatives to ensure effective prioritization, successful adoption, and result-driven execution
All you'll need for success
Demonstrates the highest standards of personal ethics and integrity.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
7 years of leadership experience, including leading teams, managers, and individual contributors
7 years of business or operational experience with demonstrated ability to be an action-oriented and results-driven leader, with a natural aptitude for engaging employees across multiple workgroups
Ability to influence others through outstanding interpersonal skills, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated expertise in process improvement
Excellent problem solving, negotiation, and critical thinking ability
Ability to productively and proactively adjust to dynamic situations
Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, as well as proven success implementing strategic initiatives under time constraints
Ability to build and facilitate relationships at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
Strong mentoring and relationship building skills with ability to effectively manage group and interpersonal conflict situations
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to handle complex topics comfortably and to interact effectively with all levels, both verbally and written
Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)
