The Department of Neurology, University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology in the area of General Neurology with an emphasis on Headache Medicine working in the New York State regional areas including Geneseo and Batavia.

Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient and outpatient expert care for patients with general neurologic disorders. Participate in the education missions of the Department of Neurology.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess an MD or equivalent and are eligible for a New York State Medical License, board eligible or board certified in Neurology to join our diverse and collegial faculty group.

The University of Rochester Medical Center is a national leader in neurology. Candidates should have completed an ACGME accredited adult neurology residency, be board certified or eligible in Adult Neurology along with having completed a UCNS accredited Headache Fellowship. Applicants must have or be eligible for a New York State medical license and pass pre-employment drug testing.

The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process._
