Formulation Technician - Manufacturing

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Formulation Technician - Manufacturing to join their team. As a Formulation Technician, you will be responsible for preparing chemical solutions used in the production of life-sustaining medical devices. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Formulation Technician - Manufacturing

Location: Hayward, CA

Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday, 5:30am-4:00pm

Pay Range: $24.00/hr

What's the Job?

Measure, mix, and prepare chemical formulations in accordance with batch records and SOPs.

Handle chemicals including Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH), Liquinox, bleach, and other cleaning or process-related agents.

Perform pH, conductivity, and concentration checks on formulated solutions.

Accurately document all formulation activities, including lot numbers, measurements, and process times.

Maintain formulation equipment and ensure tanks, mixers, and lines are clean and ready for use.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED required/

1-2 years of experience in chemical handling, formulation, or a related manufacturing role.

Familiarity with hazardous materials and chemical safety procedures.

Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions accurately.

Basic math, measurement, and documentation skills.
