PacSci EMC has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to deliver the highest quality aerospace products to our customers. The ME IV shall be a site-level expert on multiple aspects of Electronics Manufacturing Engineering and associated disciplines/processes. They should have developed experience in areas which allow others to turn to them to for advice/insight/training and act as the single point of contact for issues arising from the process/aspect.
Responsibilities:
NPI - Lead the efforts to ramp products from development to production. Provide DFM feedback, design production fixturing, and train the team on key product/processes to ensure the highest quality work and on-time delivery.
Manufacturability - The M.E. should have the experience to assist in the development and handoff of new products to ensure manufacturability. You should be able to use your experience and knowledge of the capabilities of the manufacturing floor and be able to make suggestions and push back to design in areas where the product design/requirements are not manufacturable.
Lead Standard Work - The M.E. shall be able to lead a standard work kaizen or event or be able to perform and develop standard work documents without the assistance of others. Should be comfortable updating and keeping standard work current with the process as they evolve and are improved.
MBB Standard Work - The M.E. should be working towards or have earned a Master Black Belt in standard work; should be able to help others with standard work and mentor junior co-workers. The M.E. shall identify, capture, implement and enforce standards of manufacturing processes, tool design and best practices.
Problem Solving - The M.E. should be capable of leading structured RCCA efforts and delivering reports directly to management.
Mentoring - The M.E. shall be able to identify development needs of level 1, 2 and 3s, implement and execute a mentoring plan to bridge knowledge gaps. The M.E. should demonstrate behaviors that make him/her accessible as a mentor and coach.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - External/internal:
10+ years of experience in a technical and manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace/defense industry.
Expert in SolidWorks.
FactoryLogix experience is a plus!
Self-starter with excellent communication and team skills.
This role requires U.S. citizenship in adherence to ITAR, DFARS, and federal compliance standards
Education and Experience:
BS in engineering or technical discipline.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is $121,800 - $226,200
Is this role subject to ITAR?
The essential duties of this position require adherence to U.S. Government export control regulations.
