SUMMARY

We are currently working with a highly successful privately held manufacturer of custom-made products to identify an Inside Sales Associate for their national domestic line of business. This position is open due to growth and need for additional headcount. This company has been in business for over 60 years with a history of continual growth and extremely low turnover rate. Over the last 3 years they've introduced new product offerings, increased their R&D and international sales management staff, and grown in overall headcount by 43%. As part of their continued growth, next year they will embark upon an approximate 60K square foot addition to their production space. This is a team-oriented tight-knit group of just approximately 150 employees. They offer excellent work-life balance with limited to no overtime, and a professional but very down-to-earth and friendly work environment with bright and clean office and manufacturing spaces. They also like to eat and it's common to expect breakfast, luncheons, and a variety of other company festivities!

This is a full-time direct hire opportunity offering a Monday & Friday daylight hybrid schedule (after training, three days in office / two from home), an hourly rate of pay, and quarterly bonuses. Benefits are well above average and include:

POSITION

In summary, as a member of the inside sales team, you'll speak with customers with a strong focus on maintaining customer relationships, assist in preparing quotations and follow up on quotes, confirm purchase orders, and maintain up to date information in CRM and ERP systems. Internally this person will work with other departments such as engineering, production, finance, order entry, shipping, as well as the internal sales team on the domestic side of the house.

Training is provided to thoroughly understand the company's product offerings and technical aspects of those offerings to effectively support the needs of their customers and the territory sales manager that this position will support. While these manufactured products aren't SUPER technical in nature, it is important to understand what questions to ask customers / what information is necessary to determine proper measurements / dimensions, items related to product placement, if heating is required for the product, and any special custom requests that may need vetted out with the engineering and production departments.

BASE REQUIREMENTS

An associate or bachelor's degree is nice to have, but overall experience is most important in lieu of any higher education.

2+ years of experience in a customer service / inside sales related role.

Knowledge of technical products or experience working with a manufactured product with technical aspects is needed. Those with personal experience related to understanding how things work mechanically and electrically will be considered.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, be detail oriented, and stay highly organized.

Computer skills required include Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.

Experience using a CRM or ERP is nice to have but not required.

Pre-employment requirements include a drug screen.
