Our client, a leading organization in the automotive industry, is seeking a Parts Specialist to join their team. As a Parts Specialist, you will be part of the Base Operations team supporting technicians and engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Parts Specialist

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $36.17 per hour

What's the Job?

Forecast spare parts requirements based on historical data and input from technicians and engineering teams.

Utilize 3DX Catia to look up parts and component drawings to provide input to the technician team.

Support the technician team in a parts advisory capacity, ensuring accurate and timely input.

Perform data analysis in Excel or Google Sheets to evaluate inventory levels, demand trends, and spare part consumption.

Develop presentations, dashboards, and reports to communicate material planning results and recommendations to cross-functional teams.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in a materials planning or similar role.

Strong experience with 3DX Catia or similar engineering systems for looking up parts.

Hands-on experience in working with parts catalogs and technical specifications.

Excellent presentation and communication skills for developing reports and presenting data to management.
