Responsibilities

Develop and manage the claims and litigation process.

Responsible for management of hospital and physician professional liability claims and litigation program.

Identify claims trends and partner with risk management in order to mitigate exposure and promote patient safety.

Assist with implementation of early resolution program/training and support early resolution efforts.

Manage activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.

Requirements

Education:

Juris Doctorate degree required.

Work Experience:

5 years of experience as licensed, practicing attorney required.
