Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Circuit Card Assemblers to join our team. This role involves producing high-quality work according to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

Produce quality work to prescribed standards.

Follow written work instructions.

Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS).

Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Participate in LEAN Events, 'Six S' activities, action teams, etc.

Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.

Perform entry-level assembly functions including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection.

Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation such as screws, washers, nuts, and have a basic understanding of build documentation.

Perform pull-test and verify tooling, use torque tools, and have the ability to interpret and assemble multiple units in depth.

Basic troubleshooting.

Access production tools such as routers, parts list, work instructions, etc.

Wire prep, auto bond, and sleeving.

Essential Skills

Assembly of electronic components.

Circuit board assembly and repair.

Soldering and electronic assembly.

Mechanical assembly skills.

Blueprint reading and wire tabulation.

Quality control.

Crimping and wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and controlled environment with a casual dress code. Most positions require the use of ESD wrist straps and smocks over personal clothes. The shift is Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 3:30 pm, and every other Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm. Overtime is an expectation and a requirement once hired.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
