Electrical Designer

The Designer is responsible for the discipline design assistance of small- and medium-scale

project systems and components during Schematic Design, Design Development, and

Construction Document Phases in conjunction with a designer or engineer and according to the

requirements of the project scope of work and organization's design standards.

The Designer works with the team and Engineer to successfully design plans, assist in

preparing specifications, and assist in providing construction administration for the organization

according to the strategic direction and organizational standards set by the Directorial Team by

doing the following:

Collect materials required for designs

Draft designs using computer-aided design (AutoCAD and Revit) software.

Create diagrams and layouts to illustrate the workflow of designs

Collaborate with the design team to review drawings and designs.

Adjust drawings according to feedback from engineers or designers

Ensure designs comply with company regulations and quality standards.

Set up drawings and configuration files

Provide basic calculations for use by the design team in preparation of the project documents

Manage general download and files received from outside consultants and architects

Work from rough sketches, verbal direction, and specifications created by engineers and designers

Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer inquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Additional Skills & Qualifications

-2+ years AutoCAD and Revit Experience

-2+ years of Electrical experience

-MEP experience

-Multifamily experience preferred but not necessary

-Team player

-Eager to continue learning

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

Client will pay for the candidate's benefits in full. They also have unlimited PTO and flexible work from home model with fully remote as a possibility.

Workplace Type

This is a hybrid position in Henderson,NV.
