Summary
This role is responsible for building relationships with current customers that will increase account penetration, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction within a specified product category, business segment, and/or geography. Incorporates a consultative approach to fulfill customer needs by driving value, adding tools and services that improve customer operational efficiencies, and resulting in improved customer service. This role requires one to be onsite at our Dublin, OH headquarters 3 times per week and 2 days remote.
Travel
Quarterly nationwide travel is required.
Responsibilities
Assuming direct accountability for all aspects of the customer relationships for Over The Counter (OTC) only accounts and some Regional/National account assistance
Collaborates closely with the sales director and manager to help persuade customer buying decisions to support the attainment of the organization's sales objectives.
Striving to improve customer loyalty and driving customer retention.
Assess, analyze, and consult with our existing customers and new customers about their business needs and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve any customer issues/challenges.
Completes customer tasks including all product forecasts, price requests, bulk ordering, and tracking orders/shipments.
Completes RFPs, product matching, and deal models for new business opportunities.
Participates in customer calls, leads internal discussions regarding customer strategy, and prepares reports, presentations, and written recommendations as appropriate and/or as requested by management.
Prepare customer business reviews and customer meeting agendas for management and executive leadership.
Track results of initiatives and drive insights from performance.
Plan and execute quick-turnaround projects with minimal outside assistance.
May travel to existing and prospective customer accounts to cultivate relationships, demonstrate various services, and identify new market trends, requirements, and opportunities.

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of retail, eCommerce, or independently owned businesses, including key competitors, terminology, technology, trends, challenges, and reimbursement; demonstrates working knowledge of the retail and/or eCommerce offerings with a customer's unique business needs.
Initiates and takes ownership of principles of this class of trades, including account planning, inventory planning, selling processes, post-sales implementation processes, and deal economics.

Proven client relationship management experience.
