Student Intern - Finance - Detroit

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the direction of Finance Leadership, provides support to the Finance and Operational team at Henry Ford Hospital.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists Finance team with the completion and submission of reports and projects

Provides analytical support for pro forma analyses, capital budgeting, and operational benchmarking

Supports the month-end financial close process

Provides variance analysis of month-end financial results

Attends meetings as necessary.

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Requires High school diploma or GED. Completion of at least two years of college preferred.

Requires the ability to use a variety of computer software applications.

Requires strong communication skills to positively and effectively interface with all levels and @types of internal and external customers.

Requires strong customer services values and skills.

Must be self-directed, flexible and committed to teamwork.
