Job Description:
USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies.
SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

Our work depends on a SCITLS Power BI User Support joining our team to support the users of Power BI platforms that serve USSTRATCOM. The SCITLS Power BI User Support will be a critical link in ensuring the effective operation of vital systems and facilitating the success of the SCITLS mission. This is an ONSITE day shift position at Offutt AFB, Sarpy County, Nebraska. On call work may be required.
HOW A SCITLS POWER BI USER SUPPORT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Provides user support to assist system administrators.
Creates and maintains the various collaboration solutions.
Successfully responds to user requests for assistance via ServiceNow incidents.
Collaborates on architecture upgrades and consolidations.
Interfaces with internal and external program staff to provide access to program data via collaboration tools.
Assists with external account requests and access issues.
Analyzes user requests and incidents to determine level of complexity and the priority.
Identifies and implements resolutions.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree and 1+ years of experience or equivalent years of experience
Experience with Microsoft Power BI
Must possess or be able to obtain one of the following certifications within 30 days of start: CompTia A+ -or- EC-Council Certified Network Defender (CND) -or- CompTia Network+ -or- CompTia Security+
Must possess Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
US Citizenship required
Experience providing support and assisting with issues for Microsoft Power BI
Experience responding to and resolving incidents in the ServiceNow platform
Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs
Proficiency in Power Query (M Language) for data transformation and shaping
Experience supporting Power BI users, including troubleshooting, onboarding, and training.
Ability to collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills for translating technical issues into clear, actionable guidance.
Understanding of ETL Processes, data pipelines, and data integrity best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
NICE TO HAVE:
Expertise in Power BI Service Administration
Knowledge of Power BI tenant settings, workspaces, gateways, and dataflows
Familiarity with Power BI REST APIs, PowerShell scripts, and admin APIs for automation and governance.
Ability to manage Power BI licensing, security groups, and user access provisioning
Integration of Power Automate with Power BI (alert-triggered workflows, dataset refresh automation)
Proficient in building Power Automate flows for process automation
Knowledge of data source connectivity, including on-prem and cloud-based sources (SQL Server, SharePoint, Azure, etc)
Experience setting up and enforcing data governance, naming conventions, and workspace policies.
Ability to provide subject-matter expertise to other administrators
ITIL 4 Foundations certification
Microsoft Certified SharePoint Administrator Associate certification
Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate certification
Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification

The likely salary range for this position is $64,175 - $86,825. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
