GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command Training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and Constructive Simulations Supported Training from Squad through Echelon Above Brigade (EAB).

HOW A LOGISTICS SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Responsibilities will include property accountability, inventory management, and asset tracking
Maintain accurate records of inventory
Assist customer in maintaining auditability of accountable property, will help develop metrics, maintain compliance reports, sending notifications, develop/maintain/update SOP's
Ability to use good judgment and personal initiative in recognizing appropriate action to be taken for completion of tasks is a must
Create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Assists customer with shipping and receiving, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all shipments
Assist the facilities manager with planning for routine scheduling, exercises and special events
Foster a positive work environment
Perform other duties as required
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BS/BA degree in an associated discipline or High School and three (3) years general work experience to include all phases of Logistics/Supply Management
Required Experience: Experience in /knowledge of logistics management plans and implementation directives to establish a disciplined environment necessary to ensure logistics life cycle maintenance.
Required Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Command Supply Discipline Program; Knowledge of other Army or DoD regulations and industry compliance standards; Knowledge of other supply chain management software
Security Clearance : SECRET clearance required
Required Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; superb organizational skills; experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools. Ability to maintain a close working relationship with the Senior Logistics personnel. Position requires some interface with the technical staff to ensure feasibility and workability of implementing instructions and procedures. Ability to interface with the customer to resolve logistics problems and ensure common understanding of applicable military standards and other directives as they pertain to life cycle maintenance. Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 50 pounds regularly; climb ladders, or other elevated platforms to perform assigned tasks efficiently and safely; kneel, crouch, or stoop for extended periods to execute job duties in confined or hard-to-reach spaces; reach overhead or below waist level to handle or retrieve items; frequently stand or walk for extended periods in a warehouse or outdoor environment; be able to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, such as exposure to heat, cold, and noise.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $20.57 - $27.83. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
