Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Accounting in Westbury, New York. Your primary function will be to oversee and manage various accounting functions and processes.

Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Manage and audit financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Maintain and process customer credit applications efficiently.

Regularly update and keep accurate customer credit records.

Utilize Sage 300 for various tasks.

Handle inquiries and issues related to customer accounts and take appropriate action.

Be responsible for the budget processes within the organization.

Utilize advanced Excel skills for various accounting tasks.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the accounting field

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

Must have comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory

Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory

Must have a strong background in Auditing

Experience with Budget Processes is highly desirable

Familiarity with Sage 300
