Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client's team on a contract basis. This role will focus on overseeing key financial processes, including cash-related accounts, bank reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting with a focus on creating detailed process documentation.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain comprehensive process narratives for cash-related accounts and bank reconciliations.

Participate in month-end close procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Provide audit support by preparing necessary schedules and documentation.

Reconcile bank accounts and cash transactions to maintain financial accuracy.

Utilize Sage software to manage accounting functions and streamline processes.

Leverage Microsoft Excel to create detailed reports and analyze financial data.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.

Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial workflows.

Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records for audit purposes.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounting management or a related role.

Proficiency in Sage software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including cash and bank reconciliations.

Demonstrated ability to document and improve financial processes.

Familiarity with month-end close procedures and audit preparation.

Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Previous experience in the payment industry is a plus.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a contract position.
