The PAR Group is seeking a meticulous and organized Payroll Clerk to join our team! The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing payroll transactions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in payroll software, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and management regarding payroll-related inquiries.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES - PAYROLL CLERK

The Payroll Clerk will verify timekeeping information and payroll data from employees and various departments on a weekly basis for both union and non-union employees. This position will also calculate wages, deductions, and adjustments needed as well as reconcile any discrepancies. Weekly and monthly reporting will need to be prepared for management and various departments.

REQUIREMENTS -PAYROLL CLERK

Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proven experience as a payroll clerk or similar role Proficiency in payroll software, such as ADP, Sage, Criterion, or HH2) Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion Knowledge of basic accounting principles
