We are currently seeking a Project Engineer and a Sr. Project Engineer at our Jonesboro Technology Center. As a Research and Development Engineer specializing in Conveyor Systems, you will be a key contributor to the innovation and improvement of conveyor technologies within our company. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and a focus on advancing the efficiency and reliability of conveyor systems. As part of our R&D team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of material handling solutions.

Responsibilities

Research and develop innovative conveyor system technologies to

improve efficiency, reliability, and performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities

for advancements in conveyor design and functionality

Lead the design and development of new conveyor systems or

enhancements to existing systems

Conduct feasibility studies and proto@type testing to validate design

concepts and performance

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in conveyor systems

and material handling

Evaluate and integrate new technologies, such as automation,

sensors, and data analytics, into conveyor systems

Work on projects aimed at optimizing conveyor system layouts and

processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime

Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams to implement

improvements in existing conveyor systems

Manage R&D projects from conception through implementation, ensuring

timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and/or external partners to

align projects with business goals

Adhere to Hytrol Product Development process to ensure the

successful release of products developed

Develop testing protocols to validate the performance and

reliability of conveyor systems

Analyze test results and iterate on designs to address any

identified issues

Create comprehensive documentation for R&D projects, including

design specifications, test plans, and reports

Ensure that all designs comply with relevant industry standards and

safety regulations
