Our client, a leader in the automotive technology sector, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the BaseOps Service Engineering department supporting the Serviceability Team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $78-$83/hr.

What's the Job?

Establish relationships with Manufacturing, Validation, and Product Development teams to drive Serviceability requirements for electronic control modules.

Evaluate electronic controls for part design interchangeability and compatibility to support spare part and data file release strategies.

Collaboratively design, develop, and validate diagnostic test tools for reporting diagnostic codes and associated data parameters.

Support wiring system serviceability and schematic development for ease of troubleshooting and repair.

Work closely with engineering teams to integrate components and electromechanical systems.

What's Needed?

Demonstrated successful experience in electrical engineering within a product design, manufacturing, or service environment.

Practical diagnostic experience and technical field experience.

Ability to comprehend schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector end views.

Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and vehicle communication networking protocols.

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Automotive Technology with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
