We are now hiring for aFull-Time Warehouse Managerfor our rapidly expanding Electrical Supplies business. This position will be located at our Depew, NY branch.

Schedule: Monday-Friday Day Shift

It is the objective of this position to maintain the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and safety in the warehousing, picking, and shipping of products to the customer. Our warehouse operations is a fast-paced, industrialized environment where our commitment to our customers is demonstrated by operational excellence in all areas.

Job Responsibilities include:

Direct achievement of performance objectives related to productivity, quality, service, and safety.

Ensure procedures are observed, implemented and enforced.

Ensure a safe working environment and follow safety regulations.

Ensure warehouse employees receive training.

Ensure accurate time, attendance, and performance management records are maintained.

Maintain positive employee relations and morale.

Assist in developing and documenting warehouse processes.

Establish and monitor performance standards for warehouse functions, including pick, pack, and ship.

Process returned merchandise.

Establish and monitor performance standards for equipment, assembly, housekeeping, etc.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of inventory control processes.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong time management skills.

Basic computer skills including excel.

Ability to learn and use business planning systems.

Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.

Ability to remain calm and resolve problems in a timely manner under stressful situations.

Ability to adapt to changing situations and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to anticipate and prepare for customer needs.

Physical Requirements

Work is physically strenuous and workers are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds.

Work may require excessive bending or stooping.

Employee is required to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day.

Employee is required to climb ladders.

Employee is required to use hand tools.

Employee uses heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, etc.).

Salary Description

$60,000 - $85,000 per year
