General Maintenance Worker

HOW A GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

? Directly Support rotatable pool warehousing.

? Work with external customer to manage packaging and shipment of rotatable pool equipment for Navy fleet support efforts.

? Will be responsible for ensuring rapid turnover of a high volume of material, ensuring compliance with applicable packaging and labeling requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

? Education: High School Diploma/GED

? Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience

? Required Technical Skills: Basic computer skills are required. Candidate will be using DLA database to retrieve and interpret packaging requirements.

? Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain a secret clearance is required.

? Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to operate a forklift, and basic overhead crane rigging. This is a material handling position and candidate must be able to lift boxes, climb ladders, etc...

? Preferred Skills: Experience with DLA packaging requirements, or previous warehousing experience.

? Location: On site, Pawcatuck CT

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $23.37 - $31.63. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
