Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager at our location in Anne Arundel County Maryland. As an Accounting Manager, your role will be pivotal in overseeing our accounting software systems, maintaining our asset accounts, and conducting year-end audits and closings.

Responsibilities

Oversee the operation and management of our accounting software systems

Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance

Manage and maintain our fixed asset accounts

Conduct year-end audits to assess financial status and performance

Process year-end closings to close out the fiscal year

Reconcile accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy

Utilize Blackbaud software for accounting tasks

Provide expertise in ADP - Financial Services to aid company operations

Use BlackLine software to streamline financial close operations

Operate Concur for travel and expense management

Manage the ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system in the organization.

Requirements - Proficient in Auditing procedures, with a proven track record of identifying and rectifying discrepancies

Expertise in Blackbaud software, demonstrating the ability to utilize its features for effective financial management

Experience in Year End Closings, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported

Skilled in conducting Year-end Audits, providing comprehensive reviews of financial records

Knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting, maintaining accurate records of company assets

Ability in Account Reconciliation, reconciling all financial accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
