We are looking for a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to join our Temperature Calibration team in Everett, WA. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will analyze, develop, implement, and maintain methods, manufacturing operation sequences, specifications, and equipment requirements for the production/assembly of new and existing products. You will assist with new product introductions, support released products, and help retire legacy products. You will be a major contributor to and owner of key performance indicators in Operations, including: 5S/Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity. You will be empowered to make decisions, drive improvements, and have ample opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities
Perform manufacturing engineering assignments associated with the integrity of product design to assure quality and cost-effective production.
Advise engineering on existing production capabilities, equipment, facilities, and standard practices to contribute to the development of designs.
Coordinate with support groups to ensure capabilities and capacities are developed to support new products.
Ensure efficient manufacturing through achieving quality, cost, operating specifications, customer, and company standards and requirements.
Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve production processes and achieve cost reduction.
Plan, define, and implement new manufacturing systems as needed for new product introductions.
Manage and implement projects of varying complexity and scope.
Ensure integrity of existing manufacturing documents and take ownership of creating new manufacturing documentation.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited university preferred.
2+ years of related experience.
Experience with SolidWorks and/or Creo.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S, SW, PSP, SMED, VRK, OEE, TPM, etc.) is a plus.
Proven problem-solving aptitude using various tools and techniques.
Leadership experience within a team, project, or job.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work and delivering results.
Comfortable working problems of moderate scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Experience working in a metric/goal-driven environment.
Hands-on approach/experience with manufacturing processes preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; effectively able to present information and respond to feedback at any level within the global organization.
Work Environment
Working on-site in Everett, there is some travel required (anywhere between 10-50% of the time, more specifically travel might occur back-to-back weeks but then not again for 3 months).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $52.00/hr.
