Description We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team located in Woburn, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of accounting duties, ranging from accounts payable and receivable to payroll management. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, ideal for a candidate with a strong background in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.

Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Comprehensive management of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Oversee payroll functions to ensure accuracy and timely completion.

Carry out account reconciliations and rectify discrepancies.

Handle weekly check runs and process bills in a timely manner.

Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and management of financial data. Requirements - Possess a minimum of two years of experience in an accounting role

Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

Experience in handling payroll duties

Skilled in performing various @types of reconciliations

Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation

Proficiency in using QuickBooks accounting software
