Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant at our manufacturing facility in O'Fallon, Missouri, 63366, United States. As a Staff Accountant, your role will involve a mix of cost accounting, financial analysis, and general ledger management. You will also be tasked with financial reporting and collaborating with production teams to aid in financial decisions.

Responsibilities:

Performing cost accounting and financial analysis to aid in business decision-making.

Assisting with month-end close processes, including the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.

Overseeing general ledger activities to maintain accurate and current financial records.

Working with production teams to provide financial insights and support operational decisions.

Using accounting software such as Great Plains, NetSuite, and Excel for various accounting tasks.

Supervising accounts payable and receivable to ensure prompt and accurate processing.

Carrying out bank reconciliations and journal entries as part of regular accounting tasks.

Assisting in the financial reporting process by preparing and presenting reports as required. Requirements - Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

Experience with Bank Reconciliations

Familiarity with General Ledger management

Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries

Experience in Month End Close procedures

Knowledge of NetSuite software for financial management

Proficiency in using Great Plains Dynamics software

Experience in Cost Accounting within a manufacturing industry
