Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

Laborers will work with skilled craft workers using hand and power tools including tape measures, levels, and hammers. They will help pour concrete, assist with building forms, and handle general site organization and clean-up, including moving materials on the job site.

Responsibilities

Assist skilled craft workers using hand and power tools

Help pour concrete and build forms

Organize and clean up the job site

Move materials as needed

Work at heights up to 40 feet on scaffolding platforms (harnesses provided)

Essential Skills

Consistent job history and tenure with previous employers

Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly

Comfortable working at heights

Experience with general labor, hand tools, and carpentry

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in construction, manufacturing, warehouse, concrete, cement, forklift, and assembly

Work Environment

Work with the top mason contractor in NYS, focusing on concrete and new commercial building construction. You will report to the job site daily and be part of a team currently consisting of 20 workers, with plans to expand to over 40. The culture is hands-on and supportive, ensuring employees are treated well, safe, and consistently trained. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
