TITLE OF POSITION: Superintendent of Schools ? East Rochester School District

LOCATION OF POSITION: 222 Woodbine Avenue, East Rochester, NY 14445

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Month Position

SALARY: Up to $190,000 Per School Year

STARTING DATE: Anticipating July 1, 2026

The East Rochester School District is seeking an exceptional educational leader who:

Has experience as a knowledgeable leader and collaborator in strategically promoting positive student and district outcomes.

Leads with a child-centered philosophy, grounding decisions in what is best for students academically, socially, and emotionally.

Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and sound judgment, particularly in decision-making and district leadership.

Is approachable, visible, and accessible, maintaining a consistent presence in schools and the broader community.

Exhibits cultural competence and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring all students feel valued and supported.

Possesses a strong understanding of curriculum, instruction, and how students learn.

Has experience in the leading and understanding the complexities of public school finance and fiscal responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

New York State certification as a School District Leader (SDL or SDA) is required.

Central Office experience preferred.
