Location Description Post Consumer Brands in Cincinnati is a small, but mighty, team handling the company's relationship with Kroger, one of our largest industry retail partners. The Post office is just a short walk from Kroger's headquarters and the reason we've set-up base in Cincinnati. Working and living in Cincinnati, you are also close to a growing food and drink scene, several sports stadiums, and historic charm. The Post Consumer Brands office in Cincinnati supports several charitable efforts, including local foodbanks and education programs. Responsibilities The Senior Customer Supply Chain Analyst (internally, called the Customer Planning Forecasting Replenishment (CPFR) Analyst) reports to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain supporting Kroger. The CPFR Sr. Analyst is the first point of contact for the Kroger Replenishment team and performs as the replenishment expert for both customer, as well as Post Consumer Brands. The analyst gives recommendations on internal Post Consumer Brands forecasts and works with Demand Planning to ensure the best possible forecast and inventory plan are in place to maximize sales and prevent out of stock situations. Role is responsible to manage KPI's for in stocks, shelf resets, product changes, sales growth, forecast accuracy, cost and waste reduction associated with customer fines and overall operational efficiency. Works cross functionally with PCB sales, transportation, warehousing, demand and supply planning in addition to creating a strong partnership with customer replenishment/supply chain. Work Schedule: This position works a hybrid work in office/work from home schedule out of the Cincinnati, OH Sales Office. #LI-Hybrid JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Customer Focus Serves as a customer expert in customer systems and replenishment data Influences Customers replenishment system and strategy for Post Consumer Brands items Communicates recommended system settings suggestions in a timely manner Follows through on ensuring accuracy and results of settings Maintains alignment and support from Customer Replenishment team Develops and maintains best in class customer relationship between Post Consumer Brands and Customer Replenishment Team Conducts monthly collaboration sessions with Kroger Replenishment Manager/Kroger Supply Chain/Kroger sales regarding Post Consumer Brands goals to ensure alignment Protects and further exemplifies Post Consumer Brands superior reputation as primary contact to Kroger Replenishment team Helps correct system issues related to incorrect ordering or delivery changes Technical/Functional Expertise Analyzes Customer item forecasts at the retail and DC levels Analyzes and recommends forecast adjustments; filters promotional volume from history to obtain baseline forecast; also includes screening for other causal events that are not likely to repeat Manages new/discontinued item and new/discontinued Customer DC inventory; works with Sales, Customer and Demand Planning to communicate the forecast and establish introduction/discontinuation strategies Plans inventory replenishment by SKU at Customer in support of Customer's objectives by tracking and minimizing out of stocks at retail and DC levels Executes and communicates all data and analysis needs during twice a year mod resets Performance Reporting - monitors and reports on key performance metrics, Assigns causes for out of tolerance performance, forecast accuracy, replenishment, inventory and service as indicated by Customer Investigates stocking, delivery and product activity problems, finds root causes and develops and implements solutions Develops and distributes weekly inventory and service performance reports as required Aligns Customer and Post Consumer Brands inventory planning strategy Act Creates and communicates Customer modular reset and replenishment plans to ensure Post Consumer Brands alignment to customer needs Identifies/implements replenishment best practices Proactively establishes and implements countermeasures to negative trends Identifies opportunities to improve process flow and/or reduce variation and reduce supply chain costs Organizational and People Development Develops against PCB's Leadership Expectations - Leading Self Serves as the subject matter expert on replenishment processes Documents, trains and educates other users on process capabilities and provides technical leadership Coaches - brings new teammates along through mentoring Leads collaboration and coordination with all cross functional areas for replenishment related improvements and cost reduction initiatives Develops strong, smooth-running relationships and processes with all interfacing cross functional departments Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Four-year degree, desired Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in CPFR, Customer Replenishment, supply chain, sales forecasting and inventory management. Minimum 5 years experience in Customer specific systems, CPFR experience preferred. Skills: Strong customer service orientation. Must be self-motivated and able to structure and prioritize work for maximum productivity. Good familiarity with logistics planning and material management/logistics concepts. Strong ability in qualitative and quantitative analysis, competency in a broad range of computer skills - Word, Excel and presentation software; excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to manage many details and tasks with a high level of accuracy. Skill in prioritizing workload and organizing information. Ability to establish timelines and meet deadlines. Ability to initiate, coordinate and move forward on planned activities in a team environment Management Skills: Decision making, problem solving, ability to incorporate multiple views (customer, sales, other logistics functions) in the demand/supply planning process, ability to present information, make recommendations and facilitate change; strong critical, conceptual and analytical thinking, and good business judgment
