As part of our Optimization Services team, you'll play a key role in driving omnichannel success for brands at Kroger, connecting strategy to execution across sales, operations, and retail engagement.
The Role
We're looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Account Manager who is Cincinnati-based and knows how to grow brands at retail-particularly within Kroger. You'll lead client business management, sales strategy, and retailer engagement, delivering meaningful growth through insight-driven plans, efficient execution, and strong partnerships.
What You'll Do
Own day-to-day sales and account management for brand partners at Kroger, driving revenue and efficiency across channels.
Develop and execute multi-channel retail strategies, aligning with client growth goals and promotional calendars.
Lead sales negotiations, promotional planning, and new item setup-delivering clear, timely communication between brands and Kroger.
Analyze weekly sales, category trends, and retail data (Stratum, 84.51, IRI) to inform strategies and tell a compelling growth story.
Build and manage merchandising strategies, inventory forecasting, and item setup in coordination with internal and external teams.
Strengthen Kroger relationships at CM and ACM levels, uncovering new process insights and opportunities to scale brand impact.
Partner cross-functionally with Retail Media, Marketing, and Business Development teams to drive integrated go-to-market execution.
Mentor and support Account Coordinators, developing talent and scalable processes for long-term team success.
Represent The Stable/Song at industry events and in the Cincinnati CPG community.
Here's what you'll need:
4+ years of direct sales or account management experience with Kroger, including but not limited to:
possessing an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and follow-through.
proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
deep knowledge of Kroger systems and partners (1WorldSync/Syndigo, Demand Tech, Kehe).
strong data fluency-ability to extract insights and drive action from tools such as: Circana/IRI, Stratum, Demand Portal, KPM etc.
willingness to travel occasionally and work a hybrid in-office schedule located in Cincinnati.
Bonus points if:
Bachelor's degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
