Insurance Services Office, Inc. seeks a Developer II in College Station, TX

Duties:

Develop and support applications supporting business objectives while demonstrating independence in software development lifecycle phases from concept and design to testing. Perform assigned tasks for new and existing applications along with enhancements to websites, web applications, and infrastructure. Perform hands-on coding and deliver tasks on time with high quality. Adhere to the standards and best practices and perform unit testing. Troubleshoot and maintain mid-level to complex applications.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field plus 3 years of related experience. Requires 3 years of experience in the following:

-Software development and system maintenance;

-Developing systems using best practices and design patterns;

-Experience in all of the following: C#, ASP.Net MVC, WebAPI, Angular, Unit Testing Tools, Mock Tools, Continuous Integration, AWS Services;

-TypeScript or Javascript; and

-Object-oriented design concepts and software development processes and methods.

Work from home permitted 1-2 days per week. Must work at employer's office in College Station, TX other days.

Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field plus 1 year of related experience. Requires 1 year of experience in the following:

-Software development and system maintenance;

-Developing systems using best practices and design patterns;

-Experience in all of the following: C#, ASP.Net MVC, WebAPI, Angular, Unit Testing Tools, Mock Tools, Continuous Integration, AWS Services;

-TypeScript or Javascript; and

-Object-oriented design concepts and software development processes and methods.
