East Coast Truck Shop Inc. is hiring a Product Engineer.

Job Duties:Monitor, analyze, and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing methods, workflows, and production standards. Troubleshoot process issues and provide engineering support to resolve equipment or production problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams -- including operations, maintenance, and quality - to implement process improvements. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Prepare documentation, including process instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical reports. Lead or support continuous improvement projects such as lean initiatives, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions. Analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Assist in equipment installation, testing, calibration, and validation. Provide training and technical guidance to production staff as needed. Communicate with international vendors and partners in Eastern European regions to coordinate production needs, source materials, and support operational requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field. 24 months' experience as Product Engineer or Supervisor/Lead Mechanic.

Other Special Skills or Requirements: Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish language proficiency required in order to communicate with international workers and partners in Eastern European regions to coordinate production needs, source materials, and support operational requirements.

Location and Travel Requirements: The position is located at 1733 N Limestone St, Gaffney, SC 29340. Travel is not required.

Compensation: This position is salaried at $62,400.00 per year.
