Payne-Sparkman Manufacturing is an established U.S. manufacturing company with over four decades of experience serving industrial clients across the country. Our products are used by industrial facilities, universities, and transportation departments.

To support continued growth, we are seeking motivated Outside Sales Representatives to join our factory sales team. This role offers uncapped commission potential, the flexibility to work remotely, and the opportunity to sell to an established customer base, making it easier to generate sales quickly.

This position is ideal for a self-driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, following up on existing accounts, and identifying new opportunities in the industrial sector.

Training will be provided by Payne-Sparkman to ensure you are fully prepared to represent our products and services.

What Youll Do

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will:

Maintain and grow relationships with existing industrial customer accounts

Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and generate new written purchase orders

Contact and service customers within our existing database of industrial clients

Identify and develop new customer accounts within the industrial, university, and transportation sectors

Coordinate with factory personnel and distributors to ensure orders are accurate and fulfilled

Provide weekly sales progress updates and maintain organized sales records

Assist with customer feedback that may lead to new product development

Support customer service tasks such as repair orders (RGA requests)

Compensation

This position is 100% commission-based, offering significant earning potential.

Compensation Structure Includes:

Straight commission on all sales

Uncapped earnings

Higher commission bonuses once annual sales exceed the target

Approved business expenses reimbursed weekly

Because you will be reaching out to existing customers in our database, closing sales is often much easier than starting from scratch.

Training

Product and sales training provided by Payne-Sparkman

Initial onboarding may include remote training sessions and optional travel to learn directly from the factory sales team

Ongoing support from experienced sales staff

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

At least 1 year of outside sales experience (preferred but not mandatory for strong candidates)

Proven ability to close sales and generate purchase orders

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Organizational skills for tracking customer interactions and orders

Willingness to learn industrial product lines and technical details

Work Schedule

this role offers flexibility for remote work and independent scheduling, as long as sales objectives and customer service commitments are met.
