General Purpose

Perform accounting services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of company business transactions and financial planning and reporting; assist CFO and senior management with special projects as required.

Essential Functions

Prepare and file state tax returns; manage tax projects with outside accounting firm

Process and approve employee expense statements

Manage credit reference checks for new customers

Assist with month-end closing process; bank reconciliation; budget preparation and analysis

Prepare and complete statutory reporting for company's truck fleet

Process accounts payable weekly payments, working with the AP team.

Cross-train and provide backup for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Material Receiving personnel

Provide support to Controller, Chief Financial Officer for special projects

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Manufacturing experience preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or related fields

Knowledge of GAAP/ accounting processes and procedures

Strong knowledge of relevant accounting software (e.g. MS Office, Datacor ERP)

A minimum of 3 years of applicable experience to include accounts receivable and accounts payable

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.

Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, utilize hand and finger dexterity, talk or hear.

Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet; moderate.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
