We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on assembling and wiring electrical control boxes used in HVAC equipment. The technician will build electrical enclosures, install components, and wire control circuits using electrical schematics and engineering drawings. The ideal candidate has experience with electrical assembly in a manufacturing environment and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble HVAC electrical control boxes and electrical panels according to wiring diagrams and layout drawings.

Install and wire electrical components including contactors, relays, transformers, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, and control boards.

Route, cut, strip, and terminate wiring within electrical enclosures.

Label wires and components according to schematics and production standards.

Perform electrical continuity checks and basic functional testing.

Identify and troubleshoot wiring or component issues during assembly.

Follow detailed work instructions and maintain accurate assembly documentation.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve build issues.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications

1-3 years of electrical assembly or panel wiring experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Experience using electrical hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, and multimeters.

Basic understanding of electrical circuits and control components.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience assembling HVAC electrical control panels or electrical enclosures.

Familiarity with low-voltage control circuits used in HVAC systems.

Experience working with industrial control components such as contactors, relays, and transformers.

Skills

Strong attention to detail and wiring accuracy.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet production deadlines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during assembly work.

Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs.
