Duties: Responsible for designing, implementing, and testing software solutions, specifically developing and maintaining the backend systems that serve our personalization product suite, primarily with Django microservices. Work on a cross-functional team (Product Managers, UX, and FE & BE engineers) to design, develop, test, and release rich and robust new functionality based around sophisticated ML-driven analytics and complex orchestration flows to drive sales and marketing automation. Work with Cloud Ops and QA to jointly own industry standard build, test, deploy pipelines, driving for best-in-class release processes. Analyze the value in regression and unit testing and contribute to the stability of the platform; own live code by being in tune with what product / customers want and monitoring / responding to live site incidents; and identify and refactor code, reduce technical debt and improve product / UI / UX.

Education Required: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field (e.g. Information Systems)

Experience Required: 5 years of progressive experience in job offered or related occupation.

Special Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:

Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend systems using Python or Java programming languages.

Creating and optimizing RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and integrations.

Designing and optimizing database schemas (SQL) for efficient data storage and retrieval.?Working with PSQL, Starrocks, databases.

Identifying bottlenecks and improving system performance through caching, indexing, and code optimizations.

Managing cloud deployments (AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines*.
