Sonalysts, Inc is seeking a software engineer with critical thinking and effective communication skills to perform system and software engineering functions for defense system development projects.

What you will be doing:

Work on interesting and challenging software project such as:

Developing and maintaining the Model Based Systems Engineering plan for complex Department of Defense systems of system programs

Modeling and simulation of undersea weapons and launcher systems

Participate in various aspects of software development including Application Programming Interfaces (API) development, systems integration, and testing.

Participate in all areas of the software development lifecycle from planning through test and sustainment.

Collaborate across a diverse team of developers, engineers, testers, stakeholders and end users.

Majority of work must be performed on site at Sonalysts or Government facilities.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical degree

1-4 years experience in software engineering, systems engineering and application development

Strongly Desired Experience/Qualifications:

Possess an active Department of Defense SECRET security clearance*

Experience with CAMEO or other MBSE tools

Experience with MATLAB, or python

*Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check.
