Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated Administrative Assistant. We are seeking a positive team player with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is an entry-level position with high visibility and great potential for advancement. This is an administrative position with a focus on data entry.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Data Entry (Order Entry, Shipping, Purchasing, and Quality Control)

Filing (physical paperwork and digital files)

Scanning, faxing, and emailing

Receptionist duties

Mail sorting and distribution

Creating spreadsheets, letters, forms, and other documents

Completing special assignments and projects

Qualifications/Requirements:

Candidate qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to:

Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize work

Excellent typing and ten-key skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team

Ability to learn new tasks quickly and independently

Experience with the following software is required:

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)

Internet Explorer or other web browsers

Experience with the following preferred, but not required (will train):

Production Scheduling

Database and/or ERP systems

Adobe Acrobat

Experience with a manufacturing company is a plus.

Candidates must have the ability to occasionally work overtime.
