We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Mandeville, LA facility. The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Engineer at MECO will include:

Evaluating processes, workflows, equipment, and footprint for manufacturing, quality and EHS improvements while incorporating lean manufacturing principles.

Finding solutions for complex manufacturing challenges, root cause analysis, and statistical process control.

Reviewing drawings and BOM's for accuracy/efficiency and incorporating into work orders and Manufacturing Operating Instructions.

Creating / maintaining manufacturing standards, developing manufacturing labor estimates, and ensuring accurate labor budgets.

Provide hands-on manufacturing and process support to multiple manufacturing departments.

Requirements:

BS degree in Engineering with Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering preferred

0-4 years' experience in a manufacturing facility. Experience in a non-repetitive environment preferred.

Experience working within an ISO9001 quality management system. Familiarity with ASME code Section VIII and piping per ASME B31.1

CAD experience a plus

Self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a cross functional team environment.
