Be an important part of a team that keeps business moving!

B&G Manufacturing is looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Sales Support Administrator to join our Sales team. This is a varied role that combines customer service, sales administration, data management, and coordination across multiple departments.

You'll manage a small portfolio of customer accounts while providing essential support to our Account Specialists and Sales Manager. From processing orders and preparing complex quotes to maintaining accurate data and coordinating with production and shipping, you'll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive responsive, reliable service.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys working with people, is comfortable managing multiple priorities, and can work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

Support Customer Accounts: Manage an assigned group of standard customer accounts, handling routine orders, customer questions, and day-to-day service needs.

Provide Team Coverage: Serve as the primary backup for Account Specialists, stepping in to manage customer accounts and maintain service continuity during vacations and absences.

Assist with Quoting: Partner with Account Specialists and the Sales Manager to gather information, prepare complex customer quotes, and develop pricing worksheets.

Process Orders: Enter and process requests for quotations (RFQs) and sales orders in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with internal departments.

Maintain Accurate Data: Update customer information, contact records, pricing details, and other sales data in SAP and Excel.

Coordinate Across Departments: Work with inventory, shipping, production, and logistics to track orders, resolve issues, and keep customers informed.

Prepare Sales Reports: Use Excel to compile data and generate routine reports to support sales department activities and performance tracking.

Respond to Customer Inquiries: Handle general incoming calls and emails, answer routine product and availability questions, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team member.

What We're Looking For

At least 3 years of administrative and customer service experience.

Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong computer skills, including moderate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Experience We Value

Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

Experience working with SAP or another ERP system.
