Retail Mortgage Sales Manager, Texas

PrincePerelson & Associates • Texas, Texas • 23h ago

Remote | Residential Mortgage Lending | Full-Time | Company: Confidential

The Opportunity

PrincePerelson & Associates is partnering with an established, nationally recognized mortgage lender to find an entrepreneurial, well-connected Retail Mortgage Sales Manager to lead its expansion into Texas. The company is making a significant long-term investment in retail lending and wants a proven leader to recruit top-producing loan originators, establish a market presence, and build a high-performing sales organization.

Unlike a traditional sales management role, this one gives you the chance to help shape strategy and the business model, with potential for increased compensation, broader leadership responsibility, and future market development.

What You'll Do

Recruit, coach, and lead a team of retail loan originators across Texas, using your industry relationships to attract experienced, productive professionals.

Build a sales culture centered on production, accountability, and collaboration, and execute a strategic growth plan for Texas.

Leverage your Texas real estate and lending relationships to develop referral partnerships and drive purchase mortgage volume.

Build a recognized, respected retail presence in key Texas markets.

Work with executive leadership on sales strategy, pricing, and compensation programs.

Use digital marketing, social media, and technology to drive brand awareness, recruiting, and production, and help select the marketing tools that support originator success.

What We're Looking For

3+ years managing and growing a traditional retail mortgage sales team in a local market

Proven success recruiting, developing, and retaining productive loan originators

Strong relationships in the Texas real estate and mortgage communities, and a credible local reputation

Track record of building production, expanding market share, and developing referral partners

Solid knowledge of retail lending, purchase transactions, pricing, and originator compensation structures

Experience with digital marketing, social media, and modern marketing platforms

An entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to build a lasting career

Highly preferred: a meaningful professional social media following, recognition as an industry thought leader, or a record of using your personal brand to recruit talent and generate business.

Why This Opportunity Stands Apart

Build something meaningful: Shape the strategy, recruit the team, and lay the foundation for a new Texas platform.

Startup upside, established security: Get the influence of a startup backed by a stable, profitable national lender.

A company willing to invest: Leadership is committed to competitive pricing, innovative compensation, and marketing tools and resources.

Programs that attract top talent: Creative originator compensation includes ramp-up stability and strong earning potential for high performers.

Long-term upside: Success in Texas could lead to broader geographic responsibility, expanded executive roles, and meaningful financial upside.

A strong culture: The organization is known for its positive workplace, low turnover, and promotion from within.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a builder, recruiter, and relationship developer who has earned their local market's trust, knows how to build a productive retail sales organization, and wants to make a long-term commitment to establishing a Texas platform.
