Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 Base Salary
Bonus: Up to 10% Annual Bonus

⚖️ What You'll Be Doing
You'll serve as a trusted legal advisor focused primarily on:
✅ Commercial contract drafting and negotiation
✅ End-to-end contract lifecycle management
✅ Developing contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation standards
✅ Advising internal stakeholders on risk management and business objectives
✅ Managing vendor, consulting, services, confidentiality, and program agreements
✅ Legal and regulatory research
✅ Supporting compliance initiatives and organizational governance
✅ Helping scale legal operations within a high-growth environment
This is a true attorney role, not a contracts manager position.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate
You may be an excellent fit if you have:
✔️ J.D. and active U.S. bar membership
✔️ 5+ years of experience focused on commercial contracts and negotiation
✔️ Experience gained in-house and/or at a law firm
✔️ Strong contract lifecycle management (CLM) experience
✔️ Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment skills
✔️ Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business guidance
✔️ Strong legal research and analytical abilities
✔️ Comfort operating in a lean, entrepreneurial, and fast-growing environment
✔️ A collaborative personality who enjoys partnering with non-legal stakeholders
Bonus points for:
⭐ Experience with CLM platforms such as Ironclad or similar technologies
⭐ Regulatory, compliance, environmental, nonprofit, or highly regulated industry experience
