What's a typical day as Accountant? You'll be:
Performing intermediate to advanced accounting activities with attention to detail and data analysis.
Working on semi-structured assignments based on established practices and guidelines.
Compiling ad hoc accounting reports and analyses for business partners.
Assisting with internal and external audits and month end/quarter end/year end processes.
Supporting managers and team members on various projects and analyses.
Prioritizing and reprioritizing work deliverables based on changing business needs.
Making recommendations for process improvements.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
Possess 3+ years of accounting experience with a proven track record of increased responsibility.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of accounting rules, regulatory rules, and relevant business processes.
Have broad-based analytical and inquiry skills to understand financial statements, board reports, and filings.
Communicate effectively with management and collaborate well with colleagues.
Have strong computer skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess a professional, coachable attitude.
Fixed Assets knowledge/experience is desired, but not required.
