Standard Job Description
Lockheed Martin Space in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico is seeking a Summer intern Software Engineer.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Learning and contributing in a professional corporate environment
Working on a team of software engineers to deliver innovative software solutions
Working on all aspects of the software development life cycle from planning to deployment
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of:
Software languages like C#, Java, Python, database concepts, HTML and JavaScript
Workflow Development
Motivated team member
Fluent in English, including written and oral communication skills
Must be a US Citizen; this position may require obtaining a government security clearance.
Must be local to the facility and/or willing to commute.
Basic Qualifications
Enrolled in a bachelor's degree majoring in Software Engineering or a related field
Software engineering development principals
Agile development methodologies
Programming language such as C#, Java, Python
Web Development Framework knowledge

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $18.31 - $25.59

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
