Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join an insurance organization in Richmond, Virginia. This Long-term Contract position supports underwriting operations through accurate data handling, organized workflow coordination, and responsive service to both internal teams and external contacts. The role is best suited for someone who thrives in a structured, high-volume environment and can manage routine administrative work with consistency and care.

Responsibilities:

Enter application details and related information into company systems with a high level of speed and accuracy, ensuring records are complete before routing work forward.

Organize incoming submissions and move files through established workflows so underwriting activities remain timely and well documented.

Respond professionally to internal staff and external customers, providing clear updates and dependable administrative support.

Coordinate underwriting support tasks such as arranging premium audits and scheduling inspection-related activities.

Prepare and process legal notice documentation in accordance with required timelines and procedures.

Set up renewal files across multiple product lines and maintain accurate tracking throughout the process.

Assist with program-related business activities and provide day-to-day administrative support for assigned work.

Contribute to process improvements by identifying practical ways to increase efficiency and maintain consistent service quality

Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in administrative support, office operations, data entry, or customer service preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-focused and service-focused approach.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage repetitive tasks accurately in a fast-paced setting.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to handle high-volume numeric and general data entry while maintaining accuracy and organization.

Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to complete assigned tasks through resolution.

Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment while managing routine responsibilities independently. TalentMatch®
