Temporary seasonal position from 12/1/2027 to 3/1/2027
Maintain heated watering system. Operate snow removal equipment in order to operate feed wagons. Mix feed and additives, fill feed troughs with feed and water for livestock; remove ice formed in water. Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries. Vaccinate animals by placing vaccine in drinking water or feed using syringes and hypodermic needles. Apply medications to cuts and bruises, spray livestock with insecticide. Confine livestock in stalls. Wash and clip livestock to prepare them for calving. Assist veterinarian in delivery of offspring. Bind or clamp testes or surgically remove testes to castrate livestock. Clip identifying notches or symbols on animal using branding iron to indicate ownership. Clean livestock stalls and sheds using disinfectant solutions, brushes and shovels. Maintain buildings and cattle equipment. Maintain breeding, feeding and costs records. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.

Referrals accepted from local Job Service, Word-of-mouth, gate hires etc. Order holding office to refer applicants. Office hrs 8-5pm MT time, Mon-Fri, at (701) 789-0951. The actual employment offer is at the sole discretion of the employer. Referrals will be accepted from the State Workforce Agencies (SWAs), directly from applicants, walk-ins, gate hires, and from other sources. SWAs should thoroughly familiarize each applicant with the job specifications and terms and conditions of employment before a referral is made. Workers must meet all of the following criteria:

Worker must possess documentation required to enable employer to comply with the employment verification requirements of IRCA. Accurate completion of Form I-9 will be required of each worker within (3) days of employment pursuant to U.S. Law. Employer will abide by the requirements and assurances of 20 CFR 653.501 in the processing and/or hiring of individuals referred through the clearance system.
