As a Security Officer Armed Full Time Patrol in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while responding to security-related concerns with integrity. Mon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, ATM locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Respond to alarms, incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.

Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
