As a Security Officer Full Time Personnel Screening in Hutchins, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, document security-related activity, and use computer or tablet tools as needed. Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with site procedures and access-control requirements.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
