We are looking for a Senior Manager, Product Management to join our team to own and accelerate our consumer growth and retention experiences. This Product Manager will have a demonstrated interest and aptitude for AI. While formal on-the-job experience with AI is a plus, we highly value candidates who have proactively incorporated AI into their personal projects, explored AI-driven development environments (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), or built automations using AI agents. Role Description: In this role, you will be a key driver of business growth - owning all aspects of the team, technology, and tooling that onboards and activates merchant relationships across Shopping's suite of product experiences:
Lead the strategy and development of consumer reward experiences designed to maximize early product adoption and long-term retention.
Leverage data analytics and user behavior insights to build and scale personalized, cross-channel product journeys that create the most value for our users.
Work directly with engineering in a cross-functional leadership capacity to iteratively build, rapidly A/B test, and launch optimized consumer experiences.
Own the business case, prioritization, and monitoring for the product experiences under your purview, building a suite of operational reports and models using SQL, Excel, and financial modeling to drive optimal investment decisions.

You have a strong preference to rapidly AB test experiences and observe real results vs. debate what the "perfect design" is.
Technical Curiosity and Depth: You have a passion for technology and seek every opportunity to understand all of the pieces that power your experiences. You are likely building with AI in your spare time and prefer working as "one team" with engineering in a lean, fluid environment rather than through rigid planning processes. Engineering teams are used to hearing you ask "Can you walk me through how this would work?" as you evaluate whether our technical approaches are as simple and elegant as possible.
Lean, High Ownership Execution: You have a bias for action and value working in a flat, lean, startup-like organization structure where you will roll up your sleeves to solve problems with firsthand knowledge on a daily basis. If there is an important job to be done you're the first to roll up your sleeves and help drive it to completion no matter what the task is.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in Digital Product Management, at least 2 of which are in consumer-facing Product Management.
At least 3 years of experience working with SQL for data analysis and product monitoring
At least 2 years of experience driving Product Growth (e.g., user acquisition, activation, or retention)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or Computer Science or Engineering
5+ years of experience in a high growth/startup technology environment
5+ years experience working with SQL
5+ years of business analysis experience
8+ years of experience working directly with software engineering departments to build tooling and processes to support and scale new product experiences
Demonstrated application of AI to build digital products
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
New York, NY: $219,000 - $249,900 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Remote (Regardless of Location): $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Anytown, IL: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Cambridge, MA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
San Francisco, CA: $219,000 - $249,900 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
